Kip
Kip is fitness enthusiast and life lover. Growing up in Cornwall, Kip developed a free spirit and a love of health and fitness and how it relates to all things wellbeing. Kip trained in several physical disciplines throughout his adolescence, achieving amongst other things a black belt in Shotokan Karate.
In recent years Kip has honed his hobby into a passion through experimental training and nutrition, adopting a plant based diet and focusing on callisthenics and body weight exercise for strength and mobility. Kip is currently studying for a level 3 personal training qualification.
Kip has a background in drama and performance, training with the national youth theatre and believes in the value of expression through movement, incorporating dance and music into his workouts to raise the spirit as well as the heart rate.
My aim:
To share the simple satisfaction I have found in movement philosophy. The modern world is making us increasingly sedentary and I believe we should look to nature for inspiration in finding happiness through movement. Our ancestors were very active for starters so I believe movement to be a natural state of being. Science has shown the benefits of an active lifestyle time and again.
I want to help others find enhanced energy, confidence and presence through movement. This includes specific exercises to develop mobility, strength and muscle tone.
On top of these specific exercises I also want to help others honour their bodies and express themselves freely through dance. No words or intellectualisation at this point! Just pure physical expression, an absolute joy that I would like all people to experience.
